My love of travel all started with my husband’s time in the Army.

Let’s just say, we moved around A LOT. We were not only able to experience new places to live, but we also got to travel to so many new places near every duty station. After Keegan’s retirement, we settled in Arizona and I was determined to find a way to spend more time with our family and still see the world…even with our nonexistent travel budget. I’m a stepmom to two wonderful kiddos and they were my motivation to find a way to travel for less, so we could see them as much as possible.

Then I discovered credit card points and miles…

I learned to leverage those points to take vacations that I never would have dreamed possible! In the last few years we have saved over $100,000 in travel and seen places like Hawaii, England, Greece, Disneyland, Mexico, and more. And I want you to learn how to make those bucket list trips possible too. So follow along and I will show you how to start your award travel journey!

  • By responsibly and strategically opening credit cards for the welcome offers, you can actually INCREASE your credit score over time. By making on time payments, paying your cards off in full, and maintaining a high amount of available credit, you will be able to improve your credit score.

  • I typically apply for a new credit card about every 90 days and alternate opening credit cards with my player 2. This allows up to open more credit cards throughout the year while still spacing out our applications.

  • Annual fees can add up on your credit cards, but these annual fees are an investment in your future travel! When I trade a $95 annual fee for $1,000 in travel, that's an easy choice for me! evaluate the fees I am paying each year and make sure to utilize the benefits the card offers so the annual fee is worth it.

  • I keep all of my credit cards organized with Travel Freely, the only app I need for nearly free travel! This app is free and tracks your 5/24 status, annual fees, minimum spend deadlines, and more.
